Cachoeira

Cachoeira is a town of baroque churches and colonial houses, surrounded by sugarcane and tobacco plantations. The Afro soul is in the music, capoeira, and candomblé rituals. The colonial atmosphere inspires washed linens and chambray with a denim effect. The shades of plantain, açaí, and guava blend with the hues of yerba maté and tobacco, and the myriad colours of the little fishing boats along the riverbank.
